First, click on WinMx's Chat Tab, the one shown
highlighted in white here:
Once you've clicked on this tab you will see the following
warning open:
Click Continue to then see the Chat
window where the Room
List will begin to populate:
To Join any room, just highlight by clicking on the room
name and then choose Join Selected Channel at the top or right
click and choose Join. You can filter the room list for
keywords by typing any word into the text entry field between
Filter and Join, and then click Filter and only rooms that
contain that keyword will show up:
To add a room to your Favorite channels list, right click
on any room from the list and choose Add To Favorites:
In order to remove any channel from your
Favorites, click
on Favorites and highlight Remove and you will see all
channels listed on your Favorites shown. Click on any
here to remove:
To Host a
Chat room on WinMx,
first make sure you are on a Primary Connection on the
Networks Tab:
Then, type the name you want your chat room to have into
the text entry field between Filter and
Join, and then click
Host:
The room will open immediately and
begin to be listed on the WinMx Peer Network.
